Mauchline

Monochrome depiction of Mauchline with river. Mauchline is an East Ayrshire town with roots dating back to the 12th century when Cistercian monks from Melrose Abbey built an outpost there. It is famously associated with the Scottish national poet Robert Burns, who lived at nearby Mossgiel Farm and wrote many of his notable works there . Printed on buff paper.
