The British War Medal

Silver coloured round medal hanging from bar connected at the top of the disk. Threaded through the top of the bar is a rectangular ribbon with a thick orange section in the centre, flanked on either side with white, then a small strip of black and a stripe of blue on either edge. Medal has dates and image of man riding horse above shield and skull and cross bones on the reverse. Image of man's head on the obverse.
