Rectangular wide, flat metal blade with wooden handle running along the top edge and a curve cut out of the metal to make space to hold the handle. Wooden handle is wide in the centre, narrows at either side of centre then widens again at either end, where it connects to the metal. Each end of the handle has a slot where the metal sides of the blade slot in and are held in place with round metal rivets.
