Thick dark brown leather collar with lighter brown stitching at one end. Six long nails punched through the leather at intervals at the front of the collar. At least two, maybe more, missing as there are holes without nails. Small piece of metal twisted through holes at both end to join it (not part of original object?). Other holes along length possibly to adjust the size.
