17th century 30 hour brass dial longcase clock with a single hour hand and bell striker. Posted frame movement with a rising hood for the case. Manuscript written by the antiquarian Charles Kirkpatrick-Sharpe pasted inside the case suggests that the clock belonged to Sir Robert Grierson, 1st Baronet of Lag.
