Long rectangular brown metal box with raised line details on both long edges of the lid. Paper stickers on the top stating who the instrument belonged to. Metal press button on one end that releases fold up lid. Tall thin thermometer-style gauge for blood pressure attached to inside of lid. Numbers marked from 0 -300 in increments of 10 - alternating sides. Black plastic tube connected to gauge and other end is pointed plastic. Loose in the bottom of the box is an extended length of the black plastic tubing with an end that connects into the piece coming from the gauge. The other end of this section is connected to an oval soft black plastic pump. Part way along the loose bit of tubing is a length of black material that gets wrapped around the patient's arm.
