- DescriptionA large heavy calcite jar or vase, cylindrical in form with slightly concave sides and a thick rounded lip. The centre carved out to about half the depth of the object, leaving substantial walls. The jar has been varnished, and the varnish has now yellowed. Comparison with other similar vessels, suggests that this may be modern.
