Part of a drawknife or possibly a single-handed trimming knife. If a drawknife then blade broken an oblique angle with less than half preserved. Crisply rectangular handle tang section with upward turned end (to retain wooden handle?) Tang curves gracefully into blade back and cutting edge. Portion of tang curving to cutting edge has unusual squared ridge along edge, possibly for reinforcement? Original surface well preserved in areas with bare metal and forging structure visible elsewhere.
