Less than half of a drawknife, raggedly broken away at blade, with handle tang intact. Tang curves gracefully into blade back and cutting edge. End of tang turned upwards slightly (to retain wooden handle?) and blade bowed suggesting that this may have been a right hand piece. Very little of the corrosion products remains, much bare metal and forging structure visible. This piece was originally thought to be the other half of 1989.2.2.
