- DescriptionA piece of cream linen cloth, possibly from a mummy cloth. The weave is plain, with a band of three thicker weft threads along one edge. Part of the selvedge at one side present, edges otherwise torn or cut. The piece is roughly rectangular in shape. A card label bearing a description in the hand of Dr Thomas Grierson is sown onto the cloth.
